Our Defenders Workshop for girls aged 12–16 goes beyond just drills – it’s about building confident, composed, and resilient defenders in a focused and supportive environment. What sets us apart is our commitment to developing the complete player, with high-quality coaching that blends technical defending, teamwork, game intelligence, and self-belief.
The Last Line is a specialist defenders workshop for girls aged 12–16, led by AFC Bournemouth defender Amber Treweek. The session focuses on key moments of the game: 1v1 defending, defending as a unit, leading your defensive line, and playing out from the back.
The session is designed to build the core skills defenders need from decision-making under pressure to tactical awareness and communication. This workshop will help players to have a deeper understanding on the principles of effective defending
