DNA Girls Football – Terms and Conditions for School Football Sessions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all school football sessions delivered by DNA Girls Football (“we,” “us,” “our”). By enrolling your child (“the participant”) into our sessions, you (the parent/guardian) agree to abide by the following terms.

1. Eligibility and Registration

1.1. Only children who are registered and have signed up for the course in advance are eligible to attend and participate.
1.2. Registration is complete only once payment has been received and a completed enrolment form has been submitted.
1.3. DNA Girls Football reserves the right to refuse participation to any child who has not been registered in line with these requirements.

2. Player Equipment and Safety

2.1. All participants must wear appropriate sports kit and footwear suitable for the playing surface.
2.2. Shin pads are compulsory at all football sessions. Any participant who arrives without shin pads may be asked to sit out of contact or game-related activities for their own safety.
2.3. Participants must bring a named water bottle to all sessions.
2.4. No jewellery (including watches and earrings) should be worn during sessions.

3. Collection and Dismissal Procedures

3.1. Parents/guardians must provide DNA Girls Football with a clear written pick-up procedure before the start of the course. This must include:

  • The name(s) of authorised adults permitted to collect the participant.

  • Whether the participant has permission to walk home independently.

  • Any relevant safeguarding or medical information regarding dismissal.
3.2. DNA Girls Football will only release participants to the named individuals provided in writing. Any changes to collection arrangements must be communicated in advance.
3.3. We reserve the right to withhold release of a participant if collection arrangements are unclear or if an unauthorised person arrives to collect.

4. Session Delivery and Weather Policy

4.1. Sessions will run as scheduled during the course period, unless otherwise notified.
4.2. In the event of poor weather, outdoor sessions may be adapted to indoor football-related activities or classroom-based learning, at the discretion of DNA Girls Football and in consultation with the school.
4.3. Parents will be notified as soon as possible if a session cannot go ahead for unforeseen reasons.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

5.1. All participants are expected to show respect towards coaches, other players, equipment, and facilities.
5.2. Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour may result in participants being asked to sit out of activities. In repeated or serious cases, participants may be removed from the course without refund.
5.3. DNA Girls Football promotes an inclusive and positive environment. Bullying, discriminatory behaviour, or verbal abuse will not be tolerated.

6. Health, Safety, and Medical Information

6.1. Parents/guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date medical and emergency contact information prior to the start of the course.
6.2. If a participant requires medication (e.g. inhalers, EpiPens), it must be clearly labelled and available at all sessions.
6.3. DNA Girls Football coaches are first aid trained and will act in the best interests of the participant in the event of illness or injury.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

7.1. No refunds will be given once the course has commenced.
7.2. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance due to illness, injury, holidays, or other personal circumstances.
7.3. If DNA Girls Football cancels an entire course before it commences, full refunds will be issued.
7.4. If an individual session is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. severe weather, school closure), DNA Girls Football will attempt to reschedule or provide an alternative activity. Refunds will not be issued in these cases.

8. Photography and Media

8.1. From time to time, DNA Girls Football may take photographs or videos during sessions for training, marketing, or promotional purposes.
8.2. Parents/guardians will be asked to provide consent on the registration form. No child will be included in promotional materials without prior consent.
